At Figures of Wood our work is inspired by Michigan itself. We believe nature doesn’t make mistakes, so our creations retain the elements unique to each slab. Even imperfections like knots, burls and natural distressing that might be discarded in manufactured furniture are enhanced to make our pieces special.
We use walnut, maple, cherry and various burly woods to create one-of-a-kind side tables, high tables, coffee tables, dining tables, custom bars and counter tops. When you work with us, you’ll have the opportunity to choose a raw piece of lumber at our workshop. Then we’ll make it into a piece that reflects your personal style. We guarantee high quality work at reasonable prices.
